TW: lots of talk of heroine's and other characters past trauma with rape. also scenes and mentions of torture. None of this is done by the hero.
With that being said I did enjoy this book. I love military romance so this was right up my alley. It was action packed with good chemistry between hero and heroine. MJ always manages to make her heroes very strong, but also not afraid to be emotional (alphas but with with feelings). Overall, I really enjoyed the book.
Side note; I was pretty excited to see Alex Shepard from her book Breaking Daylight in this book. So this book and Breaking Daylight are set in the same universe. I have no idea when which book comes first though, not sure how accurate the publication dates are or the time line of the books.
