Natalie Bennett’s brand of dark, macabre story telling AND reverse harem? Color me intrigued. And, it’s every bit as dark and gory and creepy as you’d expect. It all begins with sisters and their friends attending the Seven Days of Sin festival- oh yes, sounds fun. But when they arrive in the village where the festival occurs, something is most certainly off about the residents.

Angel finds herself in a bit of a psychedelic phase- perhaps it’s the town, perhaps its drug, but it incites some kinky things, with an occult flair, with some sexy men/maybe demons. Men who know about Angel and her twin sisters’ forgotten past. And a creepy mystery has begun.

The perfect beginning to strange occurrences to come - and a quite interesting prequel to the Kings of Terror to come that looks to be overflowing with triggers. I’m left with tons of questions, and curious just how depraved NB will go- I have a feeling this one is going to be one of her darkest.

This was my first book by this author and now I need to read everything by her. It was the perfect balance of darkness, mystery and spice. I can't wait to see what comes next!

Loved it! And still so mysterious, although I do wonder what the difference is between Angel and Trix... why Angel alone ? Why not Trix
