I loved the second book in the Quinn and Costa series. Kara is undercover as a bartender. The team is trying to figure out who killed a young environmentalist. But, get complicated when other crimes are unearthed. We get what seems to be a realistic look at going undercover. Michael struggles with his first undercover assignment and Kara is able to help him. There are multiple crimes going on and I thought the author handled the storyline very well. I enjoyed the push and pull between Quinn and Costa. They are so different but so drawn to each other. As always, Ms. Brennan's writing is wonderful.
