I met Karen Kain in 2015. She is a wonderful person I am so grateful to know. I'm embarrassed that it's taken me this long to read her book. I have heard her speak and I've had the pleasure of her company. Her and Lorrin's stories matter. I cried and laughed. Much of the story is very sad, but there is much that is so inspiring, hopeful, and just wonderful.
