One I got on Kindle format downloaded from my library. These are always page turners for me, books by this author. This one was no different, hard to put down :)

Dark Justice
By Brandilyn Collins
Completed 6-19-14

What a roller coaster ride! I flew through this book, eating up the pages. Although I have read her YA book Always Watching, I had not previously read any other Brandilyn Collins’ books.
This book was different from most of the Christian Suspense books I usually read. I am use to getting the police's perspective on a case. There were times, when I paused to think about it, that I really wanted to see the police’s perspective! But then I would get right back into the story and be sucked away again.

I loved how the court transcripts from the trial that took place months later was interwoven into the story. It definitely helped the reader gain a broader picture of the situation.

I will say there were times I did not agree with Hannah or Emily's actions. I understand that it was hard for them to make decisions or know who to trust, but sometimes I was simply frustrated at them. I would have done things differently! But of course, I am not the one in immediate danger. Who knows what I would do if I was really in their shoes…

Overall it was an enjoyable read. It really kept me guessing and there were times I did not know who to trust! I will be on the lookout for more Brandilyn Collins books!

I received this ARC from netgalley.com in exchange for a review. For me, this book wasn't a whodunit but more of a whydunnit. Hannah, her mom Carol, daughter Emily, to uncover and stop the rascals who are planning to take out the electric grid and plunge America into darkness. That's it. That's all the book is about. I had a lot of trouble getting into the story, believing the characters, ... most of all ... believing the story and the characters.
