I'm just going to choose to not think too much about the politics.

I liked the first 3/4 better than the last 1/4 when it became pretty much all thriller-toned. The human relationships were the most interesting part, imo.

This book was not what I expected. It was a lot of fun to read and had a couple of twists that totally changed the story, which I loved. The ending was way too simple and tidy (ugh), but may not have been able to end any other way. Would def recommend if you’re looking for something fun and easy to get into.
