  • Honestly mostly dissapointed in this one.
  • It was fine and I was very excited with respect to the first book from Hill that I read right before but  the plot was as interesting, in general I don't enjoy these lvoe triangle- adjacent books but this especially since it was such a weird one.
  • I  feel like the whole bachelor style romance books have been done before. And this wasn't anything special.
  • I liked the friendship between the two but ultimately not much more. Their romance was fine and the way that they came together was solid and sensible but ultimately nothing really exciting or engaging.
  • The real saving grace from this story was the ending with (aston?) wood. I liked how it was handled and ultimatley everything came together; how the women stood up for one another and obviously how it wasn't a big deal for them together

*I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review*

Sloane and Liam have been long-distance best friends since childhood. She is visiting him in LA for the summer. When she arrives she discovers Liam is suddenly HOT, and has been tasked with being the PA on the set of his father's new reality dating show, Aspen Woods' Future Leading Lady. When one of the girls drops out of the show last minute, Sloane steps in when Liam's dad promises to use his connections to help her film writing career begin. Liam isn't thrilled with the idea, as he tries to navigate the feelings he's having towards Sloane.

This was stinkin' cute! I'm a sucker for a friends-to-lovers romance, make it CHILDHOOD friends-to-lovers and I'm going to eat it up every time. I really loved both Sloane and Liam's friendship. They were so supportive of one another and always looked out for each other's best interests. I like how we got POVs from both of them so that we were able to see what they were both thinking in any given situation. I loved the mutual pining, and I was definitely rooting for them throughout the story. I thought the plot was really fun and I was engaged the entire time I was reading. I need more from this author ASAP.

Also, OBSESSED with the ending. We love girls supporting girls.

I broke my strict bedtime rule to stay up late because I could not put this book down. Best friends catching feelings? A Bachelor-like reality show? What more could you want! Sloane and Liam had been best friends since forever. When Liam moves from Tennessee to California the two remain in touch. The summer before senior year, Sloane visits Liam in California for the whole summer. She has everything planned until Liam tells her he is working as a PA for the summer on his dad’s new reality tv show. The show ends up needing another contestant and Sloane agrees to join the show. What follows is such a fun story. I could not read fast enough!
