"Another thing Kai liked to say: love is a tangible thing. It is palpable. You can hold it in your hands. You can see it in the air. You can breathe it in and hold it and push that shit right back out of your lungs. When it dissolves, you might not see it, but that won't mean it wasn't there. Because you were."
this book was so realistic. there were so many beautiful quotes. there were people doing their best to make the most of the cards life had given them; there was a great deal of heartache and suffering, but eventually there was healing. and throughout the whole journey, there was so much love. this was basically life summed up in a book.
Graphic: Death, Drug abuse, Drug use, Eating disorder, Gun violence, Hate crime, Violence, Police brutality, Grief, Death of parent, and Murder
Moderate: Sexual content
Minor: Body shaming, Panic attacks/disorders, Vomit, Kidnapping, Mass/school shootings, Car accident, and Pandemic/Epidemic
tempted to put acephobia but they didn’t explicitly say anything against it but they did say that sex is “a human need” so that was iffy but other than that that’s about it for the trigger list 😀 almost all the damn options lmaotorymorris's review against another edition
