This was the first true "bully" romance I read, and I realized very quickly that I think this trope is just not for me. I didn't really like anything that happened here, but beyond my issues with the trope itself, I also felt like very little happened here. I didn't feel like I knew anything more about the characters at the end of the book than I did at the beginning. I also really didn't enjoy the graphic sex scenes featuring high schoolers. Unfortunately a pass for me.

Very slow burn, but great story! I usually hate bully romances but this wasn’t too bad. I’m hoping the story and smut are better in the next book.

what did I read

Wow their just isn’t any words to describe this story as it has blown me away. This is absolutely amazing fast pace read that pulls you in from the beginning. I’m hooked on this series. This is a first read by this author for me and it won’t be my last. This is a very intense dark read that is a collage setting of a society of the blue bloods and the games have begun. Scar has to earn her keep with the 3 alpha men and they aren’t making it easy, on top Scar has a stalker following her everywhere.

Amazing Start to a Series!

This is my first Rachel Leigh book and I LOVED IT!! It checked every box for a super steamy RH Bully Romance! Even if there weren’t a lot of spicy times…the tension was so HAWT!! And we got some scenes that were

Copy received from the author. Voluntarily reviewing and all opinions are objective and my own.

There’s nothing Rachel Leigh puts out that I don’t enjoy and this one is no different. A tad slow to get into (or maybe that was just me bc I was busy) but amazing once things picked up. The three guys: Neo, Jagger, and Crew, are all fascinating in their own ways. I can’t decide who I cheer more for - Jagger or Crew. (Kinda liking Jagger tbh…) It’s edgy, fun, and I can’t wait to learn more in the next book!
