I followed Ander's (healing) journey with interest.
His relationship with Brady shows one possibility of dealing with past abuse and has it's ups and downs. They both treat each other with respect and fit well together.
But I have to add that one does not treat a burn with frozen food/ ice. Bonus point for Meatball the cat though.
I also enjoyed the audio narration.

Graphic: Domestic abuse, Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Physical abuse, and Sexual content
Moderate: Drug abuse, Violence, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Suicidal thoughts, Toxic relationship, and Blood

This book did such a good job showing an anxiety disorder and it's effects on someone and their relationships. I love that it showed the main characters both struggling to find ways and to be happy together and I love that it wasn't all immediately solved when they decided to try.
But
I wish we got to see more of it. That we hadn't skipped these 6 whole months between the last chapters and that we'd actually seen them try a relationship with labels and all. Yes, the book acknowledged that they still had issues but I would've loved to SEE that not just hear that yknow?
