Interesting read about someone who I was only kind of vaguely aware of. A bit manic in the telling if her story and it was over just as I was getting comfortable. I guess that's the point.

Super random but very enjoyable. Would reccomend the audiobook as Carrie Fisher reads it herself.

"If my life wasn't funny it would just be true, and that is unacceptable."
Ele. Estava. MORTO. E ela só segue pra próxima kkkkkkkkk ai incrível
"I decided to ride the lightning instead of extinguishing the light of life that had once shone out of my eyes. I keep my wick lit for my daughter, Billie, for my mother, my brother—for my entire family—and for each friend I've made with both hands, one heart, two moods, and a head crammed with memory. Memory I must now reacquaint myself with."
"I like to quote fictional characters because I'm a fictional character myself."

Amusing, but slight. Carrie Fisher ruminates about her life and experiences, but really doesn't provide much in the way of depth or detail. Still, I laughed out loud and was thoroughly entertained. I'm also planning on finally reading Postcards from the Edge.

Hilarious. That's the one word I would use to describe this book. I've been on a kick within the last year or so of reading biographies and I'm so glad I picked this one up.
I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, I like it, but I'm not a die hard fan or anything. I decided to read this because I knew Carrie Fisher was a very funny lady. She has written some novels and screenplays and I've seen her in interviews and she's just riot. That completely shines through in this book. It's a very fast read, and I think that's because it isn't incredibly detailed, but informative enough with little anecdotes that I was thoroughly entertained the entire time.
I would recommend this book to fans of Debbie Reynolds (because she's in the book a lot, all good) and anyone who just knows about Star Wars and who Carrie Fisher is. If you have a sense of humor, you'll like this book.
