This was a really good read! I think I like reading about Sutton's Life way more than Emma's. It is much more interesting. I am excited to read the other novella.

This novella was like a Mean Girls plot thing. The girls were so valley and the main character was the typical wants to keep her popularity status and it popular but is actually struggling on the inside. I would of liked a book like this in middle school or even elementary school. it was ok, 2.5 rating.

I liked this addition to the series. It gave some interesting insight to Sutton. Although I would still like to know how she ended up dating Garrett.

The First Lie gives you a unique perspective on what Sutton was actually like. You find out that she is not a total bitch and that she had a heart. Sadly, this book does not go up to when she dies so it didn't give us a lead on who killed her... But we find out how she uncovered some secrets her parents had kept. This book is a good incite on what Sutton's life was like before Emma. If you've read the series this is a must read!

How it all started, mostly..
I love the lying game and i loved this novella.
I think it's one of the best series i've read, i just love the mystery in it and how it was a light read.

I loved loved that it's the live sutton who's talking though i really thought we're gonna know more about what happend the night she died

But we did manage to find out more about sutton and thayer and how cute their relationship was. Even though i found thayer to be a little spooky for me

I don't remember much of what happened in two truths and a lie, but i'll skim through it again to remember cause i read it long time ago

But this novella made me fall in love again with the series

Not for everyone but great for me

I LOVE this novella; I actually wish it was longer. But I would only recommend it to Lying Game readers who really like Thayer and are interested in his relationship with Sutton. The important stuff was already given in the main series and this addition doesn’t add much. Personally, I would give it a 5/5 because I love Thayer as a character and I think the books could use more of him. But overall I stand by a 3.5 or 4 out of 5

It's hard to rate a novella because it's so short, but I really liked this one! Good background on Thayer and Sutton. I'm incredibly glad I read this one based on pub date instead of reading it first as a prequel.
