Regan decided to become a mail order bride for the adventure. Then she ends up shooting her future husband before they are formally introduced in person. Once they work through the initial hiccup, love begins to bloom. The passion is there first. There were more than a few extra hiccups but they eventually get to their happily ever after.
I really enjoyed this book. It was the perfect end to a wonderful series.

I mean you gotta love a romance novel that starts with the heroine accidentally shooting the hero a little. I love Regan; she's so perfect! It took a little while for me to warm up to Colton since all he wants to talk about was his first wife, but he gets better as the story goes along. Very sweet.

4.5⭐️ I have no idea why it took me so long to read a Beverly Jenkins book, this was excellent. A well paced romance with two incredibly likable main characters. I can’t wait to read the companion novels.
