The title and cover of this book made me want to read it. Unfortunately, I was 40% into the book before it even started to pick up. The book was lackluster and the writing was pretty immature. I wanted to be on board with a banned bookshop, but this was more about a book shop so pretentious that they only carried classics. And, of those classics, nothing newer than the mid 1900s. I didn't find the ending believable, and I called the "plot twist" from jump. 3/5 stars
