I really wanted to give this book a shot. The premise sounds really fun and challenging. But it was just a struggle to even understand the who and what on each single page, let alone putting them all together to make a complete story. I just didn't want to spend the time to figure it out.

Intrigued by the premise and picked up on a whim. This is a 100-page murder mystery whose pages have been printed deliberately out of order. The reader’s task is to find the correct order of pages, as well as name the murderers and their victims. In my first read through I’ve only sussed out that there are multiple first-person narrators, including killers. There are also more murders mentioned in the book than the six murders you’re supposed to solve. I only managed to link two pairs of pages and that is it. I see how this could take people months of Charlie Day conspiracy walling to solve.

I mean... I read every page?...

Did I solve the mystery? Not even close

The book made me feel incredibly smart and incredibly stupid and lost all at the same time, which is honestly quite an impressive feat.

I obviously could've read it wayyyyy faster than taking 6 months to finish it but I wanted to solve it damnit! :(
