When I first started reading, I didn’t think I’d enjoy the book. But by the time I reached chapter 4, I couldn’t put it down and read all of it in less than a day. It’s very mysterious, and the family dynamics in the book were really interesting to see, as well as the way that the horror elements were intertwined and introduced throughout the story.

it was time i did a reread of the book ! i’m always here for a good fast paced simple mystery. i actually used to like supernatural horror more when i was younger so this was a nice throwback for two reasons. the characters are enjoyable and the mystery is nice. Kasey is soooo creepy, i almost got chills sometimes. surprisingly ends well enough to be a standalone <3
