Such a good holiday read while in the Lakes. It was fun reading about the places that we'd been this week as I could picture the scenery so vividly, and it was refreshing to have a lighthearted read that had female friendship at the centre rather than a romance. Didn't change my life but I had a nice time

I really really enjoyed this book, it was a very wholesome feel good read and I love that it was set in the Lakes referencing places I know of. I feel like it’s very rare to get a book that’s of the wholesome vibe without it just being a love story which is why I loved this so much. I will say I don’t think the writing style was the best hence not the five stars, but I was able to overlook this for the storyline and the characters.
