Oh man. I intend to finish this at some point because I’m super interested in the perspectives of women as it comes to weird lit, butttttttttttt sadly I just found the ones I read in the first half mostly too boring compared to a lot of other stuff I’ve been reading lately. I’ll come back I promise.

3.5 stars-my partner picked this one out for me and it is a fun little collection for sure! I love stumbling across rare short stories, and the fact that they are all female authors (many forgotten) dabbling in the odd makes this is a collection that I will treasure for years to come. Granted they're not ALL hitters, but my favorites/more memorable stories included: The Revelation by Mary Braddon, The Sculptor's Angel by Marie Corelli, The Haunted Flat by Marie Belloc Lowndes, Island of the Hands by Margaret St Clair, and The Unwanted by Mary Elizabeth Counselman.
