I quite enjoyed almost every one of the stories in this collection. It definitely started off strong with the first several and then there were a couple in the late middle that were a bit flat but finished strong with the final 2. While most of these centered on vampires, there was enough variation in the material for it not to become stale. Stories were short enough to read in one sitting without tiring out the reader. Nice collection here.

This collection of stories is about how the revelation surrounding the existence of vampires would be received. There were some truly novel ideas and concepts (who would have thought of cavemen vampires?), but overall, I found that many of the stories tried to do too much in too little space and were convoluted. The collection is rife with distracting grammatical errors - I wish there had been more stringent editing. I didn't understand the inclusion of the dragon story in the middle; I wasn't sure how it was meant to fit in. I also didn't love how some of the stories talked about women. The one story I found interesting was Darkened Lives, though I thought the female character could have been written without so much focus on her body. I was hoping for a collection that was spookier and more engaging, but this one wasn't for me.
