This side story for Halloween featuring Oliver and the world he is immersed into has been a great read. The change in the point of view has been nice, because in this way we get to know what Olga really thinks and feels about Oliver. Follow Olga and Oliver while they attend a very hot and sexy Halloween party. I am getting really used to the special use of dialogue the author uses in her stories. Another great story!

After reading the first Memoirs of a Gigolo novella, I felt compelled to continue following along with Oliver's life. Lucky for me, this month is October. With October comes Halloween. And with Halloween, this year, comes this great short story from Livia Ellis.

Because this was a side story to the main Memoirs of a Gigolo series, I think the author felt that she could take the liberty of changing the POV. Instead of following along with Oliver narrating, the readers gets to see Oliver from the outside, from another character's POV. Happy Halloween Oliver is a story from Olga's view-point. This really was a good choice I think. The reader gets a small glimpse into her character in book one, but this shows a much different side of her.

Is this Halloween special spooky? Well, no. It's not that kind of Halloween. It's a sexy Halloween. It's everything you'd expect when the main characters are escorts and big spending clients. I think the setting, a party full of alcohol, barely dressed and naked men and women, and over the top extravagance, was great. The descriptions throw you in the story. I was there beside the narrator experiencing the various "acts" that she witnessed and even those she took part it.

I think it was also great to get glimpses of some of the interesting characters, clients and escorts alike. I have a feeling that they'll come into play later in the series and I can't wait.
