A bunch of murder mystery writers and fans band together to murder each other and/or solve a murder. The central mystery was hard to follow via audiobook because there were so many characters. And so many murders. Cozy enough and a little too fluffy, but it IS the book I chose specifically to be fluffy so I wouldn't be streaming constant horror into my ears.
Surprisingly because I don't dig romances or side plots, I felt invested in the romantic side plots! The gay police detective who's never had a girlfriend! The former priest who's never had a girlfriend! The Ukrainian refugee who attracts them both! I've read several books by Elly Griffiths now and I have this experience with all of them - the mystery just OK, the romance better. On to book #3.
