“I'm not a lady, I'm a witch.”

It took almost no time for Granny to become one of my favorite characters ever

I loved Granny Weatherwax and Eskarina—their relationship is the strength of this book—and I also enjoyed the social commentary and Granny's interactions with the outside world. Everything else, however, felt kind of throwaway and read like a rough draft.

Duidelijk veel te jong toen ik dit boek laatst las. Was toen leuk, nu is hij subliem! De vorige 2 boeken komen niet aan de hielen van dit derde boek. Hop naar boek 4!

Brilliant. A lot better and more enjoyable than the Colour of Magic. Funny, well written, good plot, got a bit confused at the end but that was probably my fault....yeah. A good read. I loved the characters especially.
