This novella was amazing!!
I have never read a book by J.S. Snow before but after this I am definitely hooked! Although this book us part of the Metal Prodigy Series it can be read as a stand alone without feeling like you know nothing. The author gives enough information on each of the characters that fills you in and makes you desperate to start the series!
This novella revolves around the band, Hell's Redemption, and their guitarist, Alex Hattabough, known on stage as A.G. and her secret relationship with bassist, John Lucas. The novella introduces each of the characters so you can better understand the dynamics between them all and understand how the band works.
The novella also examines the insecurities that many of them have and really makes the "rock stars" human. Many of them are battling inner demons and doubts about themselves that we all face which makes the reader relate to the characters.
The relationship between Alex and John is super intense and very sexual. Be prepared for many mind-blowing events within 10 hours!! Yet the relationship is also delicate as this is the first real relationship for either of them, which is where the insecurities rise from.
I can not wait to read more of this series!!
