I always love getting the guy POV, I especially love when it becomes a book. I have read the male POV from Jamie McGuire and now Mia and I have to say thank you for that. Sometimes when I read I am like WTF did he do that and when he explains I am like okay I forgive you but to actually read his thoughts makes it 10x better. Mia you did a fantasic job and I can't wait to read more of your books.

I think the ending of this book was the highlight. There wasn't much new information about Leo's character that we couldn't figure out from the first book. It's always nice to have an alternate POV thought.

I would rate this a 3.5, as this story was slightly better from Leo's POV. The beginning was much less creepy and stalkerish, and it is easier to understand why the main male lead does what he does. I do wish the author had shown the male lead being more torn over the lies he was telling.
The flashbacks to his time in the hospital were heartbreaking and really showed the struggles he has had over the last 8 years. I also enjoyed the new and expanded epilogue, especially the "two-months" later snapshot, as I was interested to see what their more immediate future together looked like.

I really enjoyed this story from Leo's POV. Despite his explanation, being in his head made it so much easier to sympathize with him. That poor man went through so much and I just loved him. His breakdown was so sad and had me in tears. This one is a winner but you need to read Leo first.

Yesterday I finished reading Leo, today I finished Leo's Chance. When reading Leo I teared up but when reading Leo's Chance I cried, I thought about why and realised that Evie overcomes things with a positive attitude whereas Leo came dangerously close to letting the bad suck him down when he was younger.
Wonderful pair of books about how the human spirit can rise above circumstances. Thank you Mia, I'll remember next time I need a good cry.
