This was way more enjoyable to me than the other books I’ve read by this author (I read one of us is lying but dnf the sequel). Felt more family mystery than thriller/murder mystery. I loved the setting and the twists along the way. It did get a little confusing on audio at times between the three female narrators, but I was able to pick up the ebook for the last 75% which definitely helped. I also appreciated that this was fairly clean for a YA book.

This reminded me of inheritance games and truly devious a little, so if you have enjoyed those you might like this one.

It was alright. Still waiting for one to rival One of Us is Lying.

This is my favorite book by McManus I’ve read! I was instantly sucked in by the atmosphere of it all. I found myself going back and rereading conversations the characters had in order to try and catch them in a lie. This was a really fun one off book and I was more than satisfied with the ending! I only wish we got to know more about JT.
