I want to give this book 5 stars but the ending!!! I wanted one more chapter. 😭 She is so good at showing you don't have to have a long book for it to be a good story.

Just ok. Was a little slow at times and I didn’t really enjoy the twist. I thought it was going to be a lighthearted book but ended up being heavy.

This was fine, but frankly unmemorable. I'm just not sure Rebecca Serle is the author for me! The book had a great premise and some interesting characters, but I found myself getting bored through the second half. I listened on audiobook and tbh may have fallen asleep for a minute. Whoops. I also didn't love that the FMC had a "secret" that turned into a plot twist. It didn't feel like a big enough secret to be a big deal, and she just needed to tell people. I've read 3 of RS's books and I feel similar about all of them, so maybe it's just a me issue.
