I’m conflicted on this story. I enjoyed the characters and I liked it overall, but I felt the book could have ended at least five chapters sooner. It was a long wrap up.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator for Nikki didn’t match for me. He had a very deep voice, but that’s not how he was described. Plus the secondary narrator sounded so vastly different when performing Nikki that it completely threw me off.

Nikki is a free spirit and very confident. He is an out and proud gay superstar. Fox is an older, mild mannered entertainment lawyer. They are opposites that attract. Nikki is in trouble and is surrounded by dangerous people. He needs help and Fox is there to help him. Fox steps in and guides Nikki and they discover an attraction for each other. The trouble gets resolved and they fall in love. I don’t like the way the narrator for Nikki portrayed him.
