I never cried after finishing a book solely because I was heartbroken that it ended. But after reading this book I did cried, I’m still crying. I can’t believe that this magical and powerful story just came to an end. From the beginning to the very end it enchanted me, I couldn’t stop reading it. I want to start it all over again right now and then again and again. This book has been published in 30 countries and I want to collect every possible edition I can get, it may seem like an overstatement but this book means everything to me. Even though I have literally just finished it but I truly haven’t felt this way about any book before. I want to learn everything about flowers and about Alice. She is such a wonderful character, I feel like I knew her my whole life.

First I started watching the tv series without knowing it’s based on a book, after watching the first episode I realized that it’s an adaptation and since I already felt so deeply about the story I started listening to the audiobook the very next day. Actually it only took me a day to listen to the whole book. I couldn’t stop listening to it! I cannot even express how much I loved it! Also the tv adaptation is amazing very similar to the book which is the best thing ever! Only watched 3 episodes so far but incredibly excited to watch more of it!

I can’t believe that this was the author’s debut novel. I’m so grateful that she shared this incredible story to the world! Holly Ringland is an outstanding writer who deserves everything and I can’t wait to read more from her.

This book is a must read, please read it! It is a very important and beautiful story!

This book changed my life and I’m sure it can change many more. The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is a true masterpiece.

Unique, charming and inspiring.

I love rereading favorite books of mine but this year surprisingly this was my first reread. I think I knew deep down that I will find a book that becomes part of me, the book I want to relive over and over again the first time. My reread was truly wonderful, the most magical thing happened.

I felt like I’m reading this book for the first time again, even though I knew everything that happened I still had that magical feeling. The feeling that this book became my home.

I honestly couldn’t recommend this book enough!

Reading this book was a beautiful experience. The compassion developed for each character was lovely. We’re all just out here trying to find our way, aiming to show kindness to those around us but still working through our harms of the past, and somehow finding comfort in the familiarity of those past traumas, too. Feels very true to the lives experiences of women.

Alice’s world as she knew it completely changed when she was 9 years old. Following a family tragedy, she was forced to leave her childhood home by the sea, to live with her estranged grandmother, June, on a flower farm in the middle of nowhere.

While learning the language of the beautiful Australian native flora, and under the watchful eye of June and “the flowers,” Alice grows up and finds herself. She then discovers a betrayal and she escapes to the Great Australian Dessert for solace.

It’s there that Alice truly finds herself but it seems that history has an uncanny way of repeating itself.

I really enjoyed reading this book. While some of the plot points were predictable, this beautifully written story sucks the reader in and keeps them engaged the whole way through.

DV is a common theme throughout the book so make sure you’re in a good headspace before reading.

I’m really looking forward to watching the Amazon series to compare it to the book.
