Thank you Sharon J for recommending this book to me. I am glad that I finally got to read this book. This was an amazing read. I do love slow burn romances. I think those make the best stories because we get to really see who the characters are and how they fell in love. I really enjoyed the banter between Jameson and Sebestian. Jameson, aka James, is a very studious, the plain Jane girl who is also funny, and sassy. I loved her right away. Sebestian "Oz" Osbourne is the douchebag with a capital D. He is on the wrestling team and he is basically a manwhore. When James turns him down for a one-night stand, he really tries his hardest to get her in his life. They had perfect chemistry. I loved this story. It is a friends-to-lovers story. I am looking forward to see what will happen in the next books in the series. Overall, an incredible read.

Just kind of... meh? I don't know, it felt like it was missing something, BUT I laughed a lot and I loved the saying at the beginning of each chapter.

Jeśli szukacie czegoś na rozluźnienie lub odmóżdżenie to polecam. Trochę zawiodłam się po tych pozytywnych opiniach... Z pewnością jest to historia o której nie będę pamiętała już za kilka dni.

I don't know how I feel about Oz. He really is a douche and that's the point but his feelings towards women remained icky through to the end of the book.

The name and cover always turned me off, but I could no longer resist the audio recommendation. It was adorable and nothing I expected. I'll definitely be reading the next book of the series. Jameson is everything an NA heroine should be. Oz is such an ass, but I couldn't help but adore him.
If you like college/sports, I definitely recommend this one!
Audible - Josh Goodman & Muffy Newtown are excellent and execute "steamy" scenes better than anyone I've listened to.

I actually enjoyed the plot and the characters but the sexism in the writing was just so hard to ignore. It doesn't really catch the eye or evident but once you start to see the little things it's really annoying.
I mean at some point in the book, a group of guys -including our main guy- call the main girl's best friend a very degrading term and the girl starts crying but it is brushed off as if nothing happened. I at least expected the main girl to say something to him but no. She defended her boyfriend but didn't say anything to stand up for her best friend.
In that sense it felt like a Watpadd story. The main conflict of the book is never resolved and left hanging. However this maybe explained in the second book because it focuses on the person with the problems but I don't know. I feel like we should have gotten at least a little bit of closure.
However I liked the dynamics of the main characters. It has a great flow and was very easy to read. It was a cute book.

this was cute!! i really liked that it was mainly from the hero’s perspective and that there wasn’t too much drama going on with the stereotypical douchey womanizer+prudish nerd story. james was sarcastic and fun and i loved their dialogue! it was also very quick and didn’t linger too much on pointless scenes that you just wanna skip. omg! and the sex! absolutely loved that she was in control. he was still sort of a dominating presence but she was in charge and we knew if. solid B+
