I've tried for three books to find a way to like the main character but I just can't. I like the world building, the plot's not bad, but Luna just doesn't work for me. She's too combative, even with the people who for some reason like her. I give up.

This is the fourth in a series where I've not read the first 3. Having disclosed that, I'll say that I liked it a lot. I could tell that I was missing a few background stories on some things, but it didn't make me feel lost, just that I wanted to know more. I simultaneously liked and didn't like Luna. I felt for her a lot of the times, but I didn't care for her tactics with suspects at all. Anyway, I'll be looking for more of these books.

This is the fourth adventure of Nocturne Series featuring Luna Wilder.
I have to say that this fourth book really is better than the previous one. The third book was just sad to read.
But this one was actually a good read. So, in this book Luna Wilder is Lieutenant of SCS - Supernatural Crimes Squad, I think that's it.
There isn't anything new. Luna catches another case, her life is threatened a thousand times and sometime in between she meets another guy.
Well actually , she is torn between two guys - Lucas and Will.
This is getting old - in the previous book was Lucas and Dmitri. Despite those little details the rest of the book was bearable, being the best part the case that Luna is trying to solve.
I thought the final scene was a little bit exaggerated, but the case in general was pretty great.
I'll be sure to read the fifth and final book though I have no real expectations.
