The books I'd read, I enjoyed. Understandably I was a little lost with unknown stories, but overall an enjoyable read.
I loved the concept but found the layout and ordering a bit sporadic.

It was okay. I'm not super widely read in English literature so I didn't really "get" about half of them. But the ones I was familiar with were entertaining enough.

this book made me laugh so hard. ortberg does for literary characters what kate beaton does for historical figures. so silly and fun.
