I loved the book, so far it's my fav of the series. I rare it 4,75 🌟 only bc it felt a bit slow in the beginning.

Irgendwie werde ich den Verdacht nicht los, dass Rick Riordan eine Art Harry Potter mit Halbgöttern schreiben wollte, was ihm aber auf vielen Ebenen misslungen ist. Gerade diesen Band fand ich total überflüssig und langweilig. Ich habe nicht den Eindruck, dass irgendwas Relevantes passiert ist. Der Reihe bzw. den einzelnen Bänden fehlt es an spannenden Plots. Luke ist kein Antagonist, der die Reihe wie ein Lord Voldemort tragen kann. Und diese dünne Story wird dann noch auf fünf Bücher ausgedehnt. Was bisher passiert ist, hätte man auch in einem Einzelband, dafür deutlich spannender erzählen können. Ich hoffe der letzte, finale Band kann noch etwas rausreissen.
