Sad to see the series end but this was a good conclusion to the series.

This one is my favorite. What a well-crafted story! The first one was cute, the second was silly, the third started to tie the pieces together and this one just blew it out of the water. I am so glad I started this series. I am recommending them to every kid I can!

It's probably because I read the rest of this series when I was younger, but even though this final book didn't enthrall me as much, i thought it was still a really good conclusion to the story. Parts of it were a little slow, but the story's plot was as interesting as the others. I think it was just written for younger kids.

One word: AWESOME!!!! Wow, this book had it all and really pulled the first 3 books of the Willow Falls series together. Can not wait for the 5th, Graceful, to come out and see what she has in store for Grace, Angelina, Amanda, Leo, Rory, Tara, and the read if the kids!

The Last Present is the fourth and seemingly final book in the Willow Falls series. It is absolutely essential that you read the other three books first, or this one will not make sense. It picks up where 13 Gifts left off, with Connor's younger sister Grace being rushed to the hospital during David's Bar Mitzvah. As soon as they hear that, Leo & Amanda know that this crisis is the reason they have not been allowed to speak directly to each other for exactly one year. At the hospital they meet Angeline, who explains what they must do to make Grace well again. Tara, Rory, David, and Ray also make important contributions to the solution. This was a fabulous finale to the series, though I do hope it is not actually the end. Recommended for grades 4-8.
