If you are looking for a book to begin your journey of learning about feminism this is a amazing book. It’s a well written book, that keeps you turning the page because Ford has a great voice. The chapters are punchy and digestible. Why I’m giving 3 stars besides all this high praise? It’s quite opinionated and formulaic, as someone who was looking for a deeper perspective of feminism. This ain’t it. Along with my understanding of how screwed up the far right are it really felt like I was reading a blog at stages.
