Favorite of the Series!

Rated 1-5 stars w/ 5 being the best

Overall: 5 stars
Performance: 4 stars
Story: 5 stars

I totally loved this story! Silas has been a favorite character of mine since book 1. There is just something about a brooding fiercely protective dragon that I can’t resist. Ms. Lowe did an excellent job of telling Silas and Cassandra’s love story. It was so enjoyable to listen to their back and forth bantering. I especially loved the scene where Cassandra teased Silas about his library and the books being out of order.

We finally got to hear and see Drax and Moira and they were both as evil as the previous books indicated. Moira was worse than Drax, imo. After hearing the whole backstory of her and Silas and her behavior in this story, I truly hated her and wished she met the same fate as her slimy evil boyfriend.

I’m looking forward to the final installment of the series with fox shifter, Ella.

Disclosure: I received a free copy of the audiobook.

And the family grows....

As previously stated I like Lowe's writing and I breezed through this book.

I finally got more information on the stones but I don't feel like there's a driving force behind them being found anymore. Like whats the point since Drax was killed? I just can't feel any kind of villainous force hiding in the shadows...
