Right from the start I enjoyed this book, I really felt for Lutapolii given his turbulent relationship with his mother and him always feeling like he was never good enough.

I do feel at times there was a problem with the pacing, one paragraph it was winter & he was a scrawny little dragon & then the next it was spring & he had turned into a fully grown dragon with all this strength & new abilities, I’d of liked to read more on his transition and how it happened.

The story lines were very predictable but still a joy to read.

I can’t wait to see where she takes the story on the next installmment

Charming YA story about an unusual dragon. Loved the clever solutions he came up with to his problems.
