Loved this very feminist slight re telling of Little Red Ridding Hood in which she takes control of the situation and isn’t afraid, nor needs rescuing

I loved the twist on this traditional Little Red Riding Hood tale - perfect to groom those strong little girls. The wolf might scare some little girls, but not Little Red. Passing my copy along to a special little girl in my neighborhood. You'll love this for your little girls, too.

It doesn't have to have 100% happy ending. Grandma gets eaten. That's a thing. But she's avenged by Little Red, so that's ok with me.

This amazing retelling of Little Red Riding Hood is unique, surprising, and hilarious! It's not often that a book shocks me like this one did; I love the artwork (the wolf's plan is one of my favorites) and the need to read between the lines. It actually reminded me a bit of [b: I Want My Hat Back|11233988|I Want My Hat Back|Jon Klassen|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1327888784s/11233988.jpg|16160067]. It definitely doesn't pull any punches!

Striking artwork enhances the morbid little red riding tale. The illustration of grandma getting eaten is darkly funny.

Amazing illustrations, a little bit dark and twisted, and a fantastic heroine who absolutely saves herself. Love it.
