The young reader’s edition would have benefited from archival pictures.

This version comes out shorter than the adult version. Perhaps, it's the reason why it is simpler and short. I always felt something is missing. Nevertheless, I enjoy the memoir. I am fascinated that Phil Knight is an ex-accountant and he ran a business with zero cash & probably spent lots of time in debt. He ran a business in absolute no way any accountant would do

I appreciated the author’s sense of style and voice in his writing. I thought it was fascinating to learn the history of Nike.

A self confessed trainer head, I thought I would really love the story of how Nike was formed and developed. Instead I'm more conflicted as to why I even bother spending more than a fiver on any soft shoe.

A ridiculously riveting read about a runner, a sports fan and an entrepreneur. The relentless ups and downs, the twists and the pacing made it un-putdownable. as good as any rags to riches & business success fiction I’ve read. What’s truly bonkers is that this is actually non-fiction, a real-life memoir from the guy who built one of the most recognizable and admired brands in the world. A must read!

Very compelling autobiography of a pretty extraordinary guy. Obvioisly some issues with how Japanese business and culture are typified by Knight.
