The book was lovely. I flew through it on bus trips and it made the time more enjoyable. I won't spoil the ending, but it made me tear up a bit. I gave it 4.25 stars; it was so beautifully written and I adored the characters.

I would advise you to read A Song of Achilles first before hopping into this book. You don't have to but trust me and do it. Circe's story is sad and maddening.  You will hate the ENTIRE Greek Patheon after reading this book. If you're depressed or trying to escape the horrors of this day and age, avoid this book. If you're looking for a great story that will have you throwing hands with any male counterpart,  then here you go. The story does drag so be ready to push through some parts.
