An incredibly smart flip of Greek myth as it’s survived from antiquity, and of the Odyssey especially, rendered in Miller’s endlessly varied, rich prose, this novel surprised me in just how much it delighted me. Absolutely worth a read.

Beautifully written. My only issue is following the emotional rollercoaster that was Circe’s story. I’m exhausted. 😂

Ughhhhhhhhh - I really wanted to love this but I just couldn’t, the writing style totally disregarded the ‘show don’t tell’ mantra and the protagonist was unbearable. I don’t understand the hype.
