This is a cool poetry book, but I was expecting more. This book talks about love and about woman. The drawings are amazing. But the poems are not very deep but very cool for someone who wants to star reading poetry, very easy to read.

Initially at the first few pages I really liked the book and I thought I will finish it immediately but that was not the case. First of all I would betray all I have studied and read if I call this a poetry collection, this is more likely a collection of motivational quotes we women tell ourselves or one another, but it is good that it is written by a man. Secondly the book does not add anything new, I am sorry to say that it is best as motivational quotes that is appropriate for Instagram and Facebook posts nothing more. The last issue is the name of the book which made you think that the content will be grand but unfortunately it failed to do so.

one of the quickest reads i have read this year, and its worth mentioning how wholesome this is considering my position. i love how this explains the beauty in a woman and how society looks at her past and judges her. sometimes its better to work on yourself than to wait for someone else to lose you. this has made me take a lot of quotes.

Weird preachy - as well as woman-blaming - bs clearly written from the male gaze... don’t bother reading this book

"Perhaps if you wait
for a husband
and stop treating
boyfriends as kings,
you will no longer kiss the wrong frogs."

"To let a woman
like her go freely,
is to prove that you are a fool."

ok, so cliché, and personally, I think it gave me Instagram vibes. I felt like those words are so repetitive and so boring. the moral is totally fine, but it could've been put in a much better way. it needed to move something inside the reader's mind and imply it in their soul and accordingly, their mentality, however, this is beyond normal for me. besides, it's totally judgemental and I felt like there's another hint and implication apart from the intended frame drawn over here and that's unacceptable.
