I loved this book. New technologies and a maverick, cruelly twisted man with so much power and so many insider friends that he can get away with anything. The writing is excellent, short pithy sentences, irony and humour mixed. The characterisation also brilliant i can just imagine them in full colour. How have i missed the TV movie (although i have to say the casting does not match my imagination). It is years since i read any Fay Weldon but i am off to see what else i can get

Pretty good! There were some repetitive bits that got kind of boring (if Joanna May said "If thine eye offend thee pluck it out" one more time I was going to eat my shoelaces). But, a solid and very, very interesting book. I would've liked to see a little more of the clones and their interaction but other than that, I really enjoyed it!
