What a great ending to a touching series. I loved the series when it was just supposed to be a trilogy but so happy I got to enjoy the world more. Celebrate peculiarity and let your weird shine!

For this being the last in the story, I found myself being quite disappointed in it all. I felt that it was dragged out and slow to get to the climax. While this seems to have been done to give several character development story options, I feel as though this was not needed for a final installment. It tracked with the rest of the series, in which there was much tension and, sadly, some deaths. The one saving grace was the final few pages, where I found myself satisfied with where our characters were.

This was a really solid final book for a series I really enjoyed! Everything felt wrapped up and I really like the way the ending worked out. A lot of the fantasy series that I’ve read that are 3+ books long have a really long drawn out beginning of their last book and that didn’t happen at all here! Each book in the series felt like it had its own mini conclusion and each book was action packed and plot heavy.

I do not believe it needed to be 500 pages, there were some sequences that were unnecessary. But I loved how it ended the series
