We also love a nerdy hero. Noah was stinking cute, and I loved getting a glimpse into the fictional town of Merry, where I wish I could spend every Christmas!

This Xmas book is cute. It’s like a spicy hGTV hallmark movie. I liked a lot about the book:
- Cat is a strong FMC
-Noah is a single Dad
-I love HGTV fixer upper shows so that works for me
-small town charm
-not overly Xmas spirit and magic to fix everything
What I struggled with:
- Noah was misogynistic at times in his arguments to not have his daughter be a certain way and it was irritating.
- I’m sorry but most places that were destroyed by a storm and their residents needed help, would just accept the free labor even if it’s coming with strings of the TV filming so Noah arguing against it was weird.

Moderate: Eating disorder
Minor: Addiction, Child abuse, Abandonment, and Sexual harassment
There is no mention of Cat having an eating disorder but her relationship with food, i.e. constantly restricting what she’s eating in order to maintain her shape, could be triggering to those with eating disorders/in recovery.
