Holy freak. Ellen is an amazing writer! She always leaves me wanting to read more. I love how these stories are so raw and give me an inside to that crazy world of drugs. Insane. Can't wait to get my hands on the third book.

SOMEONE TELL ME TO STOP READING SAD BOOKS

Glass was addictive. I had to keep reading and I had to keep seeing what happened next. The next installment opens with hope for a better future and quickly descends into chaos. This second descent is fascinating.

What makes these books four stars for me is the disconnect from the characters. As someone who has never gone through anything like this. I have trouble connecting.

Regardless of that this story is an important one for people to read.

When I tell you the joy it is to continue with this trilogy. I'm yearning to hear more about Kristin... no Bree... No wait Kristina. I want to know more about her struggles and if she was able to fight the addiction and more foreward with her life. Still upset that she can't see that it's not love that she is feeling, but the drugs talking for her.

This book was absolutely amazing, the way it was laid out made you feel like the character was feeling. You could feel her long dragging lows and her bouncing highs. A must read for all.

Really? REALLY? I don't ever remember reading a book that has made me this angry. Of course being written by Ellen Hopkins, it is amazingly and beautifully written but the fact that it was even loosely based off of a real person makes me completely sick to my stomach. I've probably never hated a main character as much as Kristina/Bree/Whatever either. I have a respect for how hard addictions can be but really, she has no excuses. To future readers : THIS BOOK IS DISTURBING. I believe it will haunt me for quite some time. I have the last book in the trilogy but might need to give myself a break after what I just read.
