A fascinating memoir about several years in a young woman’s life when everything she’s planned for is turned on it’s head by a cancer diagnosis.
Along her journey Suleika’s meets many other people undergoing cancer treatment and I loved how her memoir expanded to include their lives and stories.
After reading this, our bookclub was shocked and upset to see Suleika’s cancer has returned and she is currently undergoing treatment again.
