I quite enjoy second chance romances, especially when there’s been a relationship as deep as marriage because it means the characters have known each other quite well and are genuinely working through changes in who they are as individuals and who they are as a couple.

I liked Lincoln and Evie, the lead characters, because of all of this and, particularly, because their separation was not animosity filled, it was lovely to see them come back together. The backdrop of a bridal business was cute.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ok not terrible. Very short, which was nice. Like so so so short. Not going to finish the rest of the series though lol

Cute second chance romance. Evie and Lincoln are divorced, when Lincoln’s dad has a stroke and he is no longer consulting he and his brothers need to find a way to pay for their father care. Evie is looking for a business partner. When Lincoln and Evie start working together they realize they never really fell out of love. Nice start to a new series

Fantastic start to another series! I’m so glad that I read the prequel first. It definitely set you up to understand where the characters are coming from and gives you a comedic cliffhanger that starts off this book. Lincoln and Evie are a divorced couple, but they both still have feelings for the other. It helps that their previous relationship didn’t really end horribly- they just sort of drifted apart. Seeing them work together you see how well they work together. This book perfectly leads to the next book. I can’t wait to read about Gage next!
