AMAZING!
I loved all the references to the 80s movies, music, games and just pop culture all together. Wade and his journey in finding the egg was breathtaking! I hope they do the book justice in the movie that's coming out next year cause this book deserves it.

Almost too many cheesy references. Fan boy fiction 100%

Great book! I read it awhile ago, but I remember it was a fun, fast read.

I would have given this book more stars if it weren't for all the unnecessary cussing. I really enjoyed the concept, the characters, and the suspense. Very well written. I just couldn't get over the use of some words-felt so out of place. I think I'm even more disappointed that I won't be able to let my son read it because I think he would have really enjoyed it.

Hatte extrem viel Spaß an dem Buch und so ziemlich jede popkulturelle Referenz verstanden. Beweist mal wieder was für ein Nerd ich doch bin.

Started out slow, but picked up after a bit. The writing is fair, but the world he creates is what makes the story interesting. This would make a fantastic movie and is worth a read if only for the interesting turn society might take with the introduction of a fully immersive virtual reality.

While it isn't destined to be a classic, required almost no deep thought, didn't change the way I felt about... anything, it was fun. Definitely fun.
