Good read, I'm pretty sure I went cross eyed a couple of times. The book provided a good, if complicated, overview of blackholes and even quantum computing. It was very informative read, but make sure that you have some understanding, if a broad one, of physics. Definitely not for the casual reader.

I must preface this by stating that unless you have the companion document or book itself, you will struggle with this as it does rely on a lot of diagrams to explain the theories throughout.
However, even with this the detail of this book is complex and not for beginners interested in astrophysics or astronomy. Wonderfully read and worth listening to as an audio book, I’d recommend this to anyone who may be looking at more advanced info on this subject.

This book covers a complex and interesting subject and it presents the information in a clear enough way so that most people should be able to understand; there are numerous equations, diagrams and pictures to help out with what is being explained. That being said, there were sections that I had to re-read to get a better grasp on what was going on. Overall, I would still recommend this book.

I’m not entirely sure for whom this book is designed. The assumption of knowledge borders on the absurd and I can’t imagine many will actually be able to get to grips with the mathematics as described, let alone the density of the subject matter. Serious consideration should have been given as to whether the explanations actually achieved what was intended before publication.
