I listened to this series in audio book. I couldn't go any farther than this. Cornell Collins is one of the *worst* male narrators. I couldn't finish it. His voice was so irritating, I finally had to just leave off.

Amazing! The best book in the series so far. Everything gets so much more intense and crazy. Trying to deal with someone who wants them dead plus trying to figure out what vee is supposed to be to all of them. It will be very hard to wait for the next book.

Spoilers below! If you haven't read the previous books, stop reading!

So, Guardians ended with a dead Joss and a panicked Vee. Chaos picks up right there and the gang begins to piece together what is happening. The guys are being targeted by their own power. Joss looked starved to death (famine) and Ewan had a disease of some sort (pestilence). Having put this together, they realize they need to reach out and get some help. Reenter Syd. She agrees to help get info from the Collector for a price. Then, the horsemen seize an opportunity to get back into the Fae Queen's good graces. Rebuilding their alliance with her leads to an invite to a corporate retreat in Scotland. The Horsemen and Vee want to see what is really going on at this place. Surprisingly, they get there and find a demon girl, and Logan, the Fae Queen's guard. The gang knows something is up. Through it all, Xander and Ewan are sure Seth is hiding something. Turns out, its something HUGE!

By this book, the only guy Vee hasn't slept with is Ewan. Ewan is a bit concerned that something bad will happen and he has been delaying. This leads to tension between Vee and Ewan for most of the book because they aren't sure how to move forward. Seth's interference doesn't help either.

This book, like Guardians ends with a HUGE bang. A new demon that is trying to destroy the world is targeting the horsemen and he has the power to topple them. The horsemen face a decision: team up with another major demon bad guy who can help them get the info from the Collector translated and save the world, or continue on their own and try to save the world from demons. Chaos has descended on the horsemen and this time, they might not survive.

Chaos picks up right where Guardian left off and is amazing! I've loved everything in the series so far but this was filled with twists I was not expecting. Players are starting to show their hands, including shifty Seth. Everything becomes more intense as pieces start coming together, you're left with more questions and wondering who can really be trusted and what is the end game.
